Benefits include feelings of relaxation, peace, balance, well-being and relief from pain. Many have reported miraculous results. It has been effective in helping many issues. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and aid in recovery. Reiki can be practiced in direct contact with the client or can be performed from a distance.

Ionic Detox Foot Bath

History of the Foot Bath

Detoxifying the body has been a familiar manner of ancient healing traditions, including Chinese & Native American, for thousands of years. The foot bath was born out of a concept formulated by US scientists and Nobel Prize winners, Peter Agre and Roderick Mackinnon. They won the 2003 Nobel Prize for chemistry for studies of tiny transportation tunnels in cell walls, shedding light on
the causes of diseases of the heart, kidneys and nervous system.

How the Foot Bath Works
The foot bath works to dramatically remove toxins from your body through your feet. The foot bath accomplishes this by energizing the water. An electrical current generates positively charged ions in the water. These ions travel through the body and attach themselves to toxic substances, neutralizing them. After being neutralized, toxin particles are pulled through the skin and out of the body via osmosis, attracted by the highly concentrated ion field in the water. This process can simply be describes as “sweating” in water. A treatment of 14 sessions, done two or three times a week, will give the best results.

Ionic detox is effective in treating:

• Toxemia    • Back Pain    • Sports & Work Injuries    • Neck Pain/Whip Lash    • Migraines/Headaches

Benefits may include:
• Increased Energy    • Improved Mental Clarity & Function    • Digestion & Waste Elimination
• Enhanced Immune System    • Improved Blood Circulation    • Healthy Skin    • Improved Libido

Why Detoxify the Body?
We are living in the most polluted environment in the earth’s known history. We are constantly inhaling and assimilating residues from petrochemicals, plastics and pesticides that occupy cell receptor sites and block hormone utilization.

Consider the following statistics:
1,600% increase in Birth Defects since 1980
250% increase in Breast Cancer since 1980
59% decrease in Male Sperm Count since 1940
500% increase in Cancer Mortality since 1900
400% increase in Heart Disease since 1900

All of the above statistics are directly related to the increased exposure to petrochemicals, toxins, heavy metals and other chemicals in the environment. While no process or therapeutic agent can guarantee the prevention of these conditions, it is logical to assume that an ongoing detoxification program – the act of minimizing toxic accumulations in the body – will reduce the incidence of chronic degenerative disease and improve overall quality of life.

Steve

A massage with Willow was such a relaxing pleasure. I will definitely schedule a session with her again. She has a very nice studio that makes you feel very relaxed when you walk in. I mean this in a good way, she has a motherly approach in her demeanor that is very welcoming. The massage was awesome!! She used an Esalen Therapeutic massage approach that had a blend of soft touch along with a medium deep tissue to work out some of the kinks. I was very relaxed and felt very loose after the massage.  It went by so fast that I though I still had more time. After the massage she was very kind and answered all of my naive questions about her other therapies. I highly recommend Willow if you looking for a relaxing and therapeutic session. She is awesome and I will be back for sure!!!!

I had a wicked spasm in my neck for days that I couldn't fix with medication or biofreeze. She worked my neck, and also adjusted my legs and hips, since everything is all connected. By the next day, the spasm was gone! She was extremely knowledgeable about the human body, and she was able to provide a very firm massage as I requested. I will DEFINITELY be back, and I would recommend this to anyone.
